Jowelle ....

Ten-year-old Jowelle has no trouble speaking her mind once she gets warmed up.

She enjoys being the “boss” when she interacts with her friends and says when she grows up she would like to be a teacher. Jowelle is able to show her creative side as a participant in her school’s chorus and is interested in learning how to swim so that she can get her physical activity in, as well.

When she is not holding a pretend microphone, belting out Beyonce tunes, Jowelle likes going to her friend’s house to play, roller skating, reading and watching re-runs of The Cosby Show.
